CIHL 2018 - 2019 PLAYER REGISTRATION

Dear CIHL Player,

The CIHL, Hong Kong's only elite, full contact ice hockey league is back for its 8th season of action!

The 2018-2019 early bird player registration fee is HK$7,888 for players and HK$4,888 for goalies until August 25. August 26 onward the price will increase to HK$8,888 for players and HK$5,888 for goalies.

Here are a few details regarding our league format for the 2018-2019 season, which we believe will greatly benefit our players:

Opening night for the 2018-2019 regular season is September 27
The schedule will consist of 18 regular season games
The playoffs format will change to the following:
- First place team receives a bye to the CIHL Championship game
- Second place team will play the third place team in a one game semi-final
- Fourth place team will not make the playoffs
CIHL will remain on THURSDAY NIGHTS
- Games will be played at 8:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
- 3 x 15 minute stop time periods
The CIHL has confirmed a referee intern from Canada for the 2018-2019 season
Complimentary beer for players of age

A few key registration notes:

Full player registration and payment must be received by the CIHL before September 7 5:00pm
The league tryout will be held on September 6 from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
All new players MUST attend the tryout to be eligible for the draft
CIHL 8^th annual Draft will be held on Sept 9 at 11 Westside, 1/F The Hudson, 11 Davis St. Kennedy Town. Doors will open at 2:00 pm and the draft will start at 3:00 pm sharp!
Equally important, a registration without payment does not qualify you for the league
You must have a credit card to successfully complete your registration

球員須知 General Guidelines For Players

球員必須穿上整套冰球裝備。裝備必須符合 CIHL 認可標準
Players should wear full hockey equipment according to the CIHL equipment standards.
球員應在球賽開始前三十分鐘到達溜冰場。
Players are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to event for preparation.
當黑色暴雨警告或颱風訊號(八號或以上)懸掛時，活動將會除消; 一切改期事宜將另行通知。球員如對活動時間有任何疑問。
Games will be cancelled when black rainstorm or typhoon signal no.8 or above is hoisted.
Players will be notified individually. Subsequent arrangements will be notified for the reschedule date(s).
