A Bakers Dozen for the Warriors!

The AsiaXPAT Kowloon Warriors started off the Year of the Rabbit in hopping fashion as they found a 'Bakers Dozen' in a 13-4 smashing of the HKBN Hong Kong Tycoons.

Warriors rookie Rhett Willcox found a hat in the first period and ended up with 4 on the night plus 3 helpers... the 7 points puts him in 2nd place for the scoring lead with 43 points, just 2 points behind Tycoons Cole Poliziani. Cole on the night had 2 points (1G + 1A).

CIHL all-time points leader Gregory Smyth picked up his first hat-trick of the season on a 4-point night. 10 different players found the scoresheet for the Warriors. Some called it payback for the 12-4 thumping the Tycoons handed the Warrior back on January 11th... what goes around comes around!

The win snapped a two-game slide for the Warriors who are now just 4 points behind the Tycoons for 1st place with 5 games left in the regular season.

the CIHL is back in action this coming Saturday, 4th of February which has the last place Manulife Macau Aces visiting the Warriors. Game time is 8:30pm at the Discovery Bay Ice Rink.
