CIHL games of the week
March 30th, 2021
The AsiaXpat Kowloon Warriors and Scotiabank South China Sharks split the previous two games this season while putting up 21 goals for an average of 10.5 goals per game. Will the score be a respectable 4-3 like the first meeting or a 8-6 last shot wins crowd entertainer?
A win for the Warriors could give them some breathing space for second place in the CIHL standings as they are currently up on the third place Tycoons by only two points while a loss for the Sharks would see their record drop to 2-8 and make the last playoff spot seem almost out of reach.
The second game of the evening features the league hottest goalie (Liam Moorfield-Yee) and the top two players (Jesse Lussier & Whitney Olsen) in the scoring race... all from the undefeated Manulife Macau Aces as they take on the third place HKBN Hong Kong Tycoons who are looking to rebound from their worse loss of the season two weeks ago to the Warriors by the score of 11-4.
