Aces Extend Win Streak to Four, Remain Undefeated

Now with four games played apiece, The Macau Aces boast a 4-0 record trailed by the Kowloon Warriors and Hong Kong Tycoons which are tied at two wins and two losses each. The South China Sharks round off the standings with a struggling 0-4 record.
For the second week in a row the Aces were victorious in their bout with the Sharks. With a score of 8-4 there was lots of names on the score sheet.
Scoring in this game started with South China’s Ryan Chu who struck 4:23 into the first period of play with help from Michael Shum and Kosuke Ikeda. Aces forward Tyler Doherty responded with back-to-back tallies with assists going to Charlie Huber, Jesse Lussier, Lokel Wong and Whitney Olsen. Olsen made it 3-1 with Doherty and Lussier chipping in to round off first period scoring.
Wong opened the high scoring second period with assists coming from Olsen and Matthew Sackney. Ryan Chu buried one only 24 seconds later for his second of the game with help from Eric Molander. Chu finished off the hat trick at 12:57 in the second on the PP with Molander and Shum chipping in with helpers. The Aces weren’t done yet, adding two more goals before the period was over. This time it was Tom Allen and Huber striking and assists coming from Olsen, Lussier, Shane Wyatt and Sackney.
24 seconds into the third Macau extended their lead to 7-3 when Lokel Wong tucked one with help from Allen and Lussier who now leads the league in assists with 10. Huber sealed the deal for the Aces making it a virtually unreachable 8-3 which was assisted by Matthew Lee and Wong. Sharks forward Ryan Chu had his fourth goal of the night assisted by Ben MacAskill to make it 8-4 but this was still too far away from the Aces huge lead.
