CIHL Internship Overview

We are currently accepting Internship Program applicants for the 2020 - 2021 season.

Participating Organizations & Supporters:

The CIHL is proud to announce its intern program for the upcoming 2020 - 2021 CIHL season, with a chance to gain invaluable work experience and to coach and play hockey in one of the world’s most dynamic cities – Hong Kong.

The CIHL intern program is designed to give interns the opportunity to live and work abroad, while playing hockey at a high level and helping develop the sport in Hong Kong.

Who is eligible to apply:

  • Canadian University and American College hockey players who are either still studying or who have graduated in the past year
  • Players interested in gaining international experience and developing the sport of hockey in Hong Kong
  • Players committed to playing hockey in the CIHL for the duration of the 2020 - 2021 season
  • Players committed to coaching youth hockey in Hong Kong 2-3 evenings a week

What the program includes:

  • An internship at a Hong Kong company
  • Accommodation
  • Monthly stipend
  • Visa assistance

Dates and Deadlines:

  • Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until positions are filled.

The CIHL intern program will not only give you the opportunity to experience the world renowned metropolis of Hong Kong, but will grant you the chance to gain valuable international work experience in a number of fields including Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Sales and Marketing, Sports Management, or Finance through one of the CIHL’s participating organizations
