2022 SUMMER HOT POT DRAFT TOURNAMENT

Dear Players,

Welcome to the second annual Hot Pot Draft Tournament - Summer Edition

The Hot Pot Draft Tournament returns after the inaugural event was organized in 2021. Why is it called The Hot Pot? Well, it’s the summer and all the players will be put into a draft. This tournament is organized by Powerplay Sports & Entertainment where players can register individually or with a teammate so they can be on the same team.

All games will be played in Hong Kong at the Discovery Bay Ice Rink. We are targeting to fill 4 teams and have one Adult Division. Schedule, game dates are as follows –

Adults

August 18 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm
August 19 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm
August 20 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm (Playoffs)

Details –

Minimum 4 games
3 X 13-minute periods with overtime (if needed)
After a round robin, teams will be ranked 1-4. Semi-final and Final
10-13 players and 1 goalie per team
All games are NON-CONTACT
Jerseys and socks will be provided and will be required to be returned after the tournament
Players can sign up individually or with a teammate
Minimum age of 15 (Any exceptions must approved by the Organizer)
Entry Fee – Players HK$2,600 and Goalies HK$1,300
Deadline to register - July 1st, 2022 or when all the spots are filled.

球員必須穿上整套冰球裝備。裝備必須符合 CIHL & SCIHL 認可標準
Players should wear full hockey equipment according to the CIHL & SCIHL equipment standards.
球員應在球賽開始前三十分鐘到達溜冰場。
Players are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to event for preparation.
當黑色暴雨警告或颱風訊號(八號或以上)懸掛時，活動將會除消; 一切改期事宜將另行通知。球員如對活動時間有任何疑問。
Games will be cancelled when black rainstorm or typhoon signal no.8 or above is hoisted. Subsequent arrangements will be notified for the reschedule date(s).
