During the regular season of the CIHL, 3 lucky contestants will be invited onto the ice each week to participate in the Air Canada Shootout Challenge. Each contestant will have 15 seconds to shoot a total of 10 pucks from the blueline and into the hockey goal.

| The contestant with the most goals each week, will be invited back to take part in the Semi Finals. The first Semi Final (February 11th) will have 6 winners from weeks 1-6. The second Semi Final (Frebruary 18th) will have 6 winners from weeks 7-12. One winner of each of the Semi Finals will move onto the Finals on March 3rd. Prizes awarded each week for all contestants. |
| The contest will run for 15 weeks with the Finals held on the final regular season game of the CIHL. The shootout will take place in between the 2 CIHL games each week. The grand prize will be 2 round trip tickets to sponsored by Air Canada. |
| Winners of each week will be announced through the CIHL website and iPhone App. |
